Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization and all help is welcome. If you have time or talent to spare, please consider joining us in making a difference in the lives of young women. There are several ways to volunteer.
Be A Mentor
Mentors should be passionate about helping young women to thrive. We use group mentoring so each group of young women will be led by 2-3 mentors. Time commitment is about two hours per week. All mentors will have to undergo a BCII (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification) background check.
Be A Guest Speaker
Deliver valuable insights, practical tips, and actionable advice that resonate with young women and leave a lasting impact. Offer resources, handouts, or follow-up materials to help them further explore the topic or implement what they’ve learned.
Be A Tutor
Use clear and simple language to explain concepts and instructions, and check for understanding to ensure that your student grasps the material. Break down complex concepts into smaller, more digestible chunks, and provide multiple examples to reinforce learning.
Special Projects
Take advantage of the opportunities to delve deeper into the heart and soul of NTL. Connect with us, learn more, and discover how you can make a meaningful impact. Together, let’s break free from the ordinary and explore innovative solutions to tackle pressing social issues head-on. Join us on this thrilling journey towards a brighter future.

Summer Internet (paid or unpaid)
Interns are often temporary employees who receive training and mentorship while working on projects or tasks related to their field of study or career interests. The purpose of an internship is to provide hands-on experience, exposure to the workplace environment, and an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
