Never The Less
“In 2011, during a normal Sunday service at the Christ Emmanuel Church, as our Pastor spoke from the pulpit I began to receive a vocation to create the Never The Less organization. I felt that the Lord wanted me to bring together a team of volunteers to assist him in getting a message to girls in our community – a message of love, appreciation, and a positive future. He wanted them to know that they are loved, that they each have a loving Father in heaven who has a purpose for each of them. They are each valuable in his Divine Plan.
Too many girls feel that they have too many disadvantages, that their lives are not important, or that because they have been born into broken families or been abused they do not have the potential for a positive future. Through our organization, we are here to share that even with all the challenges of their lives and the difficulties of living in the current culture, they are “never the less” and “always the more.” They are valuable and valued. They are born with a plan to prosper, a plan of hope, and a positive future to achieve.
Through all of the programs and services that we offer at Never The Less, Inc., we seek to imbue a greater understanding of each girl’s ability, value, and positive future by helping them to prosper socially, academically, and spiritually.”

Never the Less Timeline
2011
Doris Thomas founded Never The Less in the family room of her home with Carole Daniels and a group of friends.
2012
Never The Less, Inc. received its 501(c)3 status and became officially recognized as a non-profit organization. The first module of classes were held two days a week at the Cincinnati Community Action Agency.
2014
Never The Less moved its home office to St. Joseph’s Convent.
2016
The Emerging Virtuous Entrepreneurs (EVE) Program was launched.
2019
The Career Readiness Program was launched at Schroder High School.
2020
All programs were put on hold due to Covid 19.
2021 (June)
Never The Less was back in business. Our pilot Job & Career Readiness Program took place at Woodward High School and was a huge success.
2021 (August) New Space
We moved! Our new space in Roselawn is more convenient and accessible and provides plenty of space to expand our programming.
2021 (September) Refocus
Our revised and expanded after-school Khula and Jumpstart Your Future programs were re-launched.
